MG AGE-1 NORMAL COMPLETE!

It's all done! Since I have not built or painted for several months, I was worried about how it'll turn out. But, I'm happy with the result!

It's been a while! Here's MG AGE-1 NORMAL WIP 1

It's been more than half a year since my last real Gunpla post, but that doesn't mean I stopped with my hobby! Lots of things kept me from building, such as broken air compressor, moving to start my new job

A Very Quick Update

It's been months since my last post and I figured I should give a quick update as to what's going on. I've been pretty busy with other things, but I have been building and painting whenever I had the time. However, it's been a very very slow process (a few pieces in a span of a week on average). Additionally, I've started a new job and currently have no place to call a home since the apartment I found can't be ready until this Friday. So until then I will be and have been jumping from one friend's place to another's place, meaning absolutely no building until I move in to my own place. I've been itching to work on my kits and can't wait until I settle in to my new place. The SD Stargazer is long overdue and the MG Sandrock needs a paint job. I also started on my PG Strike and I plan to take my time with it so it'll turn out perfect. If everything works out, I should be able to get back in Gunpla very soon.

HG Harute Complete!

This kit has been long overdue, but I finally got around to photographing my entry for Dan's OOBBO contest. The colors came out better than I hoped it would. However, because the shoulders are not rotatable thanks to its transforming gimmick, I had a hard time posing this guy. It was a fun kit overall!

MG Sandrock Ver. EW WIP 1 + Mini Globaltoy Review

It's been almost 2 months since my last post. I've been busy with real life issues and haven't really worked on Gunpla until a week ago, but I'm finally back! I have to admit, I definitely missed spending an hour or two each day working on Gunpla.

My latest project is the MG Sandrock ver. EW. 

HG Harute WIP 1

It's time for a new project - Harute from the movie Gundam 00: A Wakening of the Trailblazer! Originally, I planned to work on the SD Stargazer, but because of Dan's contest, I had to push it back. Plus, I'm thinking of joining Plamocon's contest as well. The SD Stargazer will be pushed back for quite a while.

MG Red Frame Kai Complete!

It's all done! This project took almost a month to complete because of some setbacks, but I have to say, the result was well worth the wait. Since I wanted to preserve the paint job, there will be hardly any action poses. I'm still satisfied with the photos I have of it though. 

Note: Just as a warning, this post is picture heavy! I believe, there's around 80 pictures total.

I got around to painting most of the pieces except for one last batch. The weather was decent to use my gloss Mr. Super Clear spray can, but I didn't have enough time to clearcoat all the pieces. Since my GX100 Super Clear IIIs did not come yet, only about half of the pieces you see above have been clearcoated.

Not too big of an update, but I decided to post at least 1 post per week or try to anyways.

New Project! MG Red Frame Kai WIP 1

It's finally time for a new project and this time it's my very first Master Grade, the Red Frame Kai! If anyone is wondering what part of the box my sneak peak picture was from my previous post, it's the very top part where you see a Gundam with a red aura around it. 

RG Freedom Complete!

Here it is! I started this kit about a month ago and I've finished it about a week ago, but I finally got around to photographing it. It is fully painted and decaled using a 3rd party waterslide decals from gobaltoy over at eBay. I can't give a review of the decals since this is the first kit I've ever decaled; thus, I have no experience using Bandai's or even Samuel Decal's that I can compare with. However, I can say that I've had no problems with it. 

HG AGE-FX Complete!

 

The AGE-FX I received for /r/gunpla's Secret Santa is done. Technically, it's been done for a couple days. I've just been lazy to finish building the light box. Last night I had some extra time, so I got around to it and spent a few more hours taking the pictures. Taking pictures for this kit wasn't as easy as it was for the SD Strike, probably because of the extra articulations this kit comes with. It'll be apparent in the pictures, but I'm a total novice when it comes to photographing. You'll notice lots of changes in lighting from picture to picture and in some the figure isn't even upright. I apologize for those mistakes and ask that you guys overlook those mistakes.

Even though it's late, Happy New Year everyone! Hope you all have a great 2013 filled with Gunpla! I know I'm excited to see what Bandai has in store for 2013, especially for the RG line.
